I've spoken to someone that was blatantly eating, and spilling, at one of the computers. I mention open containers. However, those people eating candy are probably being more discrete and careful with their eating. Yes I see wrappers, but I'm not "catching" most folks in the act.
We have definitely been more lax about this. What are Mel and Chris' comments?
Maybe we can get tent cards like those all over Suzzallo.
I really don't think that more signage is the answer. There is already 20x too much signage in the library as it is... It would probably be helpful to have this discussion at at reference staff meeting -- do we still have those?
